Bellevue police say expensive cars were stolen from a Bellevue auto shop.

BELLEVUE, Wash. – Bellevue police are investigating after a Porsche was stolen from auto shop overnight. 

The theft happened on 120th Avenue Northeast after midnight Tuesday, Bellevue police said. 

Investigators said the suspects used a white Chevy Cruze to ram through the rolling doors of the shop to get inside. Shortly after, another suspect arrived in a separate car and the suspects went inside. 

According to police, one suspect drove away with a stolen Porsche, another suspect took off in the Chevy they used to break into the building and the third suspect fled in the third car. 

Investigators said the Porsche crashed near Northeast 8th Street and the northbound I-405 on-ramp. Troopers saw a man in his 30s walking away from the scene and took him into custody. 

According to police, officers ran the plates of the Chevy Cruze and learned that Fife police had impounded the car after it was used to ram into another dealership in the 4900 block of Pacific Highway in in that city. 

Police said the suspects stole a 2021 Ford Bronco, which has not been found. 

Investigators continue to search for the remaining suspects.
